CCNA 200-301 Official Cert Guide, Volume 1

Don't buy it off Amazon. I know it's cheaper than on Cisco's website, but just don't.
The book itself is great, well laid out, and has great info. But if you plan to rely on the PTP app to use the network simulators and test prep software, do not buy it from Amazon. Weeks of being told "The code will come, just wait" and "your concern has been escalated and you'll hear back in 24-48 hours". No code ever came. Just hoping I'd eventually give up and never bother another of the reps again. They then switched their tune to "It's a 3rd party book, so Cisco has to send it" (the book explicitly states that buying the Kindle version will yield a code being sent directly from Amazon, so someone is mistaken) Save yourself the headache, and buy it directly from Cisco.
Good book, labs helpful to start
The written style is ok. It's kind of wordy rather than concise, which can be frustrating. I prefer Lammle to Odom, but I bought this book for the labs. Hands on is the only way to really learn this stuff. Reading commands and screenshots does nothing if you can't practice it. But the book is very detailed and will get the job done.
Great book
Got book fast from amazon. Great book with well written knowledge for Cisco CCNA. Book was in perfect condition.
Better than a typical school book.
I'm not far enough in to give a proper review, but it feels more conversational than the previous edition. I just wanted to add the picture for the folks who don't READ the book and panic about access codes.

Great product. Highly recommended.
Good text
Good text. The content appropriately aligns with certification objectives.
Good
Good book, lots of the same info from the 200-125 CCNA, so its a familiar read. There is of course less content due to the new exam objectives.
Initial impression of the hard cover book: Love it
Great book so far. The material is deep enough to help you grasp concepts while not being too drawn out. My opinion might change once I'm farther along in the book, but my initial impression is that I like the writing style, like the amount of detail on a given subject, and love the way the book is written (especially the various appendix sections for quick reference.)
